Our services are geared to the highest quality requirements and all currently applicable technical rules and standards. The quality of our work is permanently ensured through regular internal and external audits of the service teams. The maintenance quality is randomly checked by means of wind turbine status reports and our customers are given a copy of the audit report.
Quality assurance includes inspections by third parties: In all major repairs such as gearbox or generator replacement an installation certificate is issued by an independent external expert and passed on to the customer. Thus we can guarantee our customers an independent evaluation of their wind turbines’ condition after our work is finished.
Our measures are supplemented by exact documentation. There are specific work instructions, maintenance logs and status reports for every wind turbine type, resulting in safety and transparency for our customers.
Additional internal technical support is available to the service technicians to immediately answer questions that may arise spontaneously on site. Furthermore, the support team prepares repair suggestions and work instructions and analyzes the optimization potential of wind farms and wind turbines.
To meet our own and the customers’ requirements and to effectively integrate them into our work flows, Voith Industrial Services Wind decided very early to become certified to the internationally accredited SCC (Safety Certificate Contractors) occupational health and safety management system and to DIN EN 14001 (environmental management). At the beginning of 2009, the SCC certification was replaced by the OHSAS 18001 certification (international occupational health and safety management system).
